PALAK VEGETABLES
Ingredients
Spinach(palak)-1 bunch
Vegetables chopped(carrot,beans,cauliflower,peas,bouble beans,potato)-1 cup
Tiny chopped onion(small and big onions)-1 cup
Chopped tomato-1/2 cup
Green chilly-1 or 2
Ginger garlic paste-2 tsp
Cinnamon,cloves-2
Turmeric powder-1/4 tsp
Chilly powder-1 tsp
Dhaniya powder-2 tsp
Garam masala-1/2 tsp
Kasoori methi-1/4 tsp
Salt
Oil
Cashewnut paste(option)-1 tbsp
Method
Cook the cleaned palak leaves with salt.
Grind to paste.
Precook the vegetables with salt.
Heat oil in kadaai.
Season cinnamon and cloves.
Add chopped onion and sauté well till golden brown.
Add ginger garlic paste,sauté well.
Add tomatoes and green chilly,sauté well with little salt.
Add all the masala powders one by one and sauté till raw flavour goes.
Add palak puree and mix well.
Add cashew paste and mix.
Add precooked veg with its water,salt.
Boil for 2 mts till gravey consistency.
OPTION:
INSTEAD OF VEGETABLES ,USE PANEER OR COOKED BENGAL GRAM OR COOKED TOOR DAL
